营养心理学,自我研究,以自己为被试的实验方式。

研究概况

其主要研究是关于如何通过研究自己来改善我们的健康。作为一个普通人,不仅仅是科学家,也能做到这一点。达到这种目的主要方式是通过测试不同食物对大脑的不同影响。例如,黄油和亚麻子油能提高大脑功能。自我研究是运用科学来提高自己的生活的方式。随着信息(例如,科学文章)及科学设备(如,笔记本电脑)比以往都要更加便宜和触手可及,自我研究也已变得越来越有力,。这种方式将会在未来变得越来越重要。Seth的部分研究是关于如何进行个人研究。和普通群众如何运用科学来提高自己的生活质量。
