Background
"Chinese civilization has a long history and has nurtured the precious spiritual character of the Chinese nation and cultivated the noble value pursuits of the Chinese people." The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China emphasizes the need to "deeply explore the ideological concepts, humanistic spirit, and moral standards contained in excellent traditional Chinese culture, inherit and innovate in combination with the requirements of the times, and let Chinese culture display its permanent charm and contemporary style," promoting the deep integration of traditional culture with school education. This conference takes the wisdom of traditional Chinese culture as its foundation and focuses on the psychological development characteristics and needs of children and adolescents, deeply exploring the spiritual power in ancient classic works to help schools create "education with roots" and let traditional culture truly take root on campus!
Goals
1. Gather principals with strategic vision for "cultural psychological education" who can deeply understand the psychological genes in Confucian, Buddhist, and Taoist cultures, construct distinctive educational systems, and truly achieve "nurturing Chinese youth with Chinese wisdom";
2. Explore how to conduct deep interdisciplinary integration of national studies classic theories with modern psychology, design localized student mental health education programs, optimize teacher stress management programs, etc.;
3. Through experience exchange, combined with school characteristics, explore school-based psychological education practice systems, creating campus support systems for cultural psychological nourishment from multiple perspectives including curriculum, space, systems, and evaluation.
