Conference Overview
The AI & Humans – Shaping the Future International Conference will be held on August 15–16, 2026, at the Tsinghua University Southeast Asia Center. The conference is jointly organized by the Department of Psychological and Cognitive Sciences, Tsinghua University and Strategic Research Theme “AI, Society & Social Dynamics”, The Faculty of Social Science, The University of Hong Kong.
Centered on the theme of AI & Humans – Shaping the Future, the conference explores emerging questions, methodologies, and paradigms at the intersection of artificial intelligence and human development, with particular emphasis on psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience, human–computer interaction, computational modeling, social behavior, and mental health. The conference aims to provide an interdisciplinary academic platform for young scholars.
A dedicated Student Research Forum will feature Oral Presentations and Poster Sessions. Students worldwide in psychology and related disciplines are warmly invited to submit their research.

Submission Guidelines
Eligibility
The call is open to undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students worldwide. Authors should normally be the first or sole author. Students listed as the second author are also eligible if their supervisor is the first author.
Presentation Format
1. Authors may choose either an Oral Presentation or a Poster Presentation, and should indicate the preference at the time of registration and manuscript submission.
2. Submissions must be written in English in the form of an Extended Abstract. The extended abstract should clearly describe the research background, objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions.
We accept both unpublished work and work that has been published within the past 12 months. Please note that the conference does not publish a separate proceedings volume, so submitting to the conference will not affect the subsequent formal publication of your work in journals or other outlets. All submissions must maintain a similarity index of ≤15% and be free of plagiarism. The Organizing Committee will strictly protect authors' personal information and intellectual property rights.
3. English will be the official language of the conference.

Conference Information
1. Accepted participants will present their research and exchange ideas with scholars from different institutions.
2. Presenters will receive relevant conference documents, such as an Invitation Letter, Certificate of Attendance, or Certificate of Presentation.
3. The conference will support the follow-up development and translation of outstanding research by facilitating exchanges with leading scholars and providing opportunities for academic collaboration and internships.
4. Accepted participants are required to pay a registration fee of CNY2,000. Lunch will be provided during the conference. Transportation, accommodation, visa, and other travel expenses are the responsibility of participants.
