On July 6, 2025, the establishment ceremony of the Tsinghua University Cultural Psychology Research Center (hereinafter referred to as "the Center") and the Cultural Psychology Forum were held at the International Conference Center of TusPark. The establishment of the Center and the holding of the forum were supported by the Tsinghua University "Venustech Psychology and Cognitive Development Fund." Yong Guo, Vice Party Secretary of Tsinghua University, Gang Wang, Vice Director of the National Center for Mental Health and Psychiatric Prevention and Treatment, Lin Lu, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Director of the National Medical Center for Mental Disorders, Qizhi Xie, Party Secretary of Venustech Group as donor representative, and other guests attended and delivered speeches, and Chongde Lin, Senior Professor of Beijing Normal University, sent a congratulatory letter. The meeting was presided over by Ying Li, Party Secretary of the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences at Tsinghua University.
Yong Guo reviewed the long history and solid foundation of Tsinghua psychology and stated that the establishment of the Center is an important measure for the university to serve national strategies and promote multidisciplinary cross-innovation. He hopes the Center will take root in Chinese soil, respond to global challenges, and contribute strength to building world-class universities with Chinese characteristics and promoting human mental health and social progress.
Gang Wang stated that mental health is a project for the people's hearts, requiring "culture as soul, technology as body," and looks forward to further cooperation with the Center for mutual development.
Lin Lu stated that the establishment of the Center marks a new step for our country in the field of mental health, and hopes the Center will leverage its humanistic advantages to serve national needs.
Chongde Lin stated that the establishment of the Center is an important platform for inheriting and innovating the psychological thought of the Chinese nation and promoting the integration of mental health and cultural confidence.

Qizhi Xie introduced the company's exploration in the integration of technology and humanities, and stated that promoting the 2E5DBC integration of excellent traditional Chinese culture with psychology is a major trend for future development. Venustech Group has already begun to advance this integration project in the education system, producing significant social impact.

Panel discussion
In the forum session, attending experts delivered speeches around the application of AI in new pathways for mental health such as emotional support. Approximately 300 people attended, including expert scholars from domestic and international universities and research institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University, and the University of Michigan, some enterprise representatives, and leaders from relevant colleges, departments, and units of Tsinghua University.
