On the afternoon of February 27, 2025, the all faculty and staff meeting of the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences at Tsinghua University was smoothly held in Conference Room 1100 of Lv Dalong Building. This meeting was presided over by Party Secretary Ying Li, aiming to clarify work directions for the new semester, unite the strength of the entire department, and promote the development of the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences to reach new heights.

Ying Li first conveyed the university Party Committee's decision to incorporate the Brain and Intelligence Laboratory into the management of the Department of Psychology, extending a warm welcome to all faculty and staff of the Brain and Intelligence Laboratory. Subsequently, she led all attendees in collective study of the "Education Powerhouse Construction Plan Outline (2024-2035)" and the "Tsinghua University Further Comprehensive Deepening Reform Implementation Plan," conveyed the spirit of the university's 2025 winter vacation retreat and the January 2025 principal officers meeting, and reported on the situation of the Department of Psychology leadership team's 2024 annual democratic life meeting. She emphasized that all faculty and students of the Department of Psychology should always remember the original mission of establishing the department, embrace responsibility and commitment, grasp development opportunities well, and with an attitude of "unity and vigor," integrate personal development into the development of the Department of Psychology in the new semester and new year, contributing strength to the construction of an education powerhouse.

Department Director Jia Liu introduced the 2025 key work points for the Department of Psychology, focusing on elaborating work plans in multiple aspects including talent cultivation, team building, international cooperation, and scientific research, and encouraged all faculty and staff to unite and work together, focus on frontier fields, strengthen interdisciplinary integration, and promote the Department of Psychology toward a new stage of development.
Associate Director Dan Zhang, Associate Director Zhen Wu, Director Assistant Shuang Hou, and Weijie Guan and Li Luo from the Brain and Intelligence Laboratory respectively introduced the key scientific research and teaching work for the spring 2025 semester, office construction, and the overall situation of the Brain and Intelligence Laboratory.
This meeting opened the prelude to the Department of Psychology's work for the spring 2025 semester. All faculty and staff of the Department of Psychology will take this meeting as an opportunity to unite as one, fight bravely, with more enthusiastic spirit and more pragmatic work style, help the Department of Psychology write new glory in the new year, and contribute more strength to the university's "Double First-Class" construction and the national education powerhouse strategy.
