I. Qualification Review
Qualification review time and location: September 14, Room 306 Weiqing Building, conducted on-site at Tsinghua University.
Applicants who do not meet the application requirements will not be admitted by our university, and related consequences shall be borne by the applicants themselves. Those who do not participate in qualification review or fail qualification review will not be permitted to participate in comprehensive assessment.
Fresh undergraduate students recommended for exemption from entrance examination to pursue doctoral degree graduate qualification review shall verify the following documents:
(1) Tsinghua University 2025 fresh undergraduate students recommended for exemption from entrance examination to pursue graduate study
Valid resident identity card
Valid student card
(2) External university students recommended for exemption from entrance examination to pursue doctoral (master's) degree graduate study
Valid resident identity card
Valid student card
Master's-doctoral continuous program students qualification review shall verify the following documents:

Open recruitment qualification review shall verify the following documents:
Valid resident identity card
Undergraduate and master's stage transcripts, on-the-job personnel who have obtained master's degrees shall present master's graduation certificate and master's degree certificate
Among which: Those related to academic credentials should attach "Ministry of Education Academic Certificate Electronic Registration Record Form" or "Ministry of Education Student Status Online Verification Report" from Xuexin.net; those who have obtained degrees should attach "China Higher Education Degree Online Verification Report" from Xuexin.net
Fresh master's graduates with nationally recognized academic credentials shall present student cards
Personnel applying with equivalent academic credentials shall verify bachelor's degree certificate, journals of papers published in national core journals or provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological achievement award certificates, official transcripts of completed master's courses
Various non-degree education master's professional degree students and on-the-job master's degree applicants who cannot obtain master's degrees before qualification review shall provide qualification review materials according to the above item 4 requirements
Candidates applying with foreign degree certificates need to present degree authentication certificates from the China Service Center for Scholarly Exchange under the Ministry of Education
Please simultaneously submit copies (one copy) of the above required corresponding materials.
All the above-mentioned documents that need verification must present originals, and shall be submitted to the applying college (department) for verification during qualification review.
II. Comprehensive Assessment
The comprehensive assessment of the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences includes comprehensive written examination and comprehensive interview. Fresh undergraduate students recommended for exemption from entrance examination to pursue doctoral degrees, our university's master's-doctoral continuous program students, and open recruitment doctoral students all need to participate in comprehensive written examination and comprehensive interview during the comprehensive assessment stage.
Comprehensive written examination: September 15, 9:30-11:30 AM, examination time 2 hours, full score 100 points, comprehensively examining applicants' professional foundational theory, research methods and research abilities, foreign language proficiency, etc. The Department of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences adopts Tsinghua University on-site closed-book examination method, specific arrangements will be separately notified by email or text message.
Comprehensive interview: Conducted on September 16, specific arrangements will be separately notified by email or text message.
Comprehensive assessment score evaluation:
The Department of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences adopts Tsinghua University on-site interview method, fresh undergraduate students recommended for exemption from entrance examination to pursue doctoral degrees approximately 20 minutes, our university's master's-doctoral continuous program students and open recruitment doctoral students approximately 30 minutes, full score 100 points, at least 5 experts independently score, average score is the interview score.
Comprehensive assessment score (100-point system) = Comprehensive written examination score * 40% + Comprehensive interview score * 60%
III. Recommendation for Preliminary Admission
The Department of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences graduate admission leadership group takes applicants' comprehensive assessment scores as the main basis, comprehensively considers specific admission situations and cultivation conditions, and combines with current year admission quota situations, recommends exemption from entrance examination applicants for direct doctoral study to be ranked separately, master's-doctoral continuous program and open recruitment to be ranked uniformly to determine preliminary admission recommendation list, reported to the university graduate admission leadership group for review and approval.
After preliminary admission results are approved by the university, they will be released or publicized through the graduate admission system according to university requirements. Before this, colleges and departments will not accept consultations regarding admission results.

Matters not covered herein refer to "Tsinghua University 2025 Doctoral Graduate Student Admission Guidelines."
